The LAA has taken the unusual step of issuing a precedent client care letter wording for Crime firms.

 

Crime Firms need to review their own client care letters to ensure they  adequately cover  the areas mentioned in this precedent.

 

There is of course the option to adopt the LAA wording which they describe as purely voluntary.
