Congratulations to Martyn Prowel Solicitors

Congratulations to Martyn Prowel Solicitors on achieving Lexcel 4.1

Martyn Prowel Solicitors are one of the latest Welsh Solicitors firms to be accredited with the Lexcel standard, and another one of many that CPM21 has supported in the process.

A well-respected law firm, providing services in Criminal, Civil, Family, Conveyancing and Probate Law, Martyn Prowel Solicitors operates out of Hallinans House, Newport Road in Cardiff. Already holders of the Legal Services Commission Specialist Quality Mark, the firm made the decision to apply for the Law Society Lexcel standard to further demonstrate their continued commitment to providing high quality legal services at competitive prices.

Paul Jones, Senior Associate Advisor for CPM21 who supported the firm in its accreditation had this to say;

"In fairness, the practice was very well run to begin with, so needed little in the way of modification to systems and procedures. All that was needed to prepare for the audit was more in the nature of emphasis changes on certain things - something that makes life much easier for a Lexcel support consultant."

Lexcel 4.1 is the current version of the Law Society Quality Standard which will change to version 5.0 in October 2011.

Paul Jones also had this to say;

"I'm delighted at this achievement for the practice, and I'm equally delighted at maintaining CPM21's 100% zero non-compliance record for client accreditation audits. As the Lexcel standard has evolved, so has the rigour and thoroughness at audit, so to maintain a record like this for our clients demonstrates CPM21's own rigour and thoroughness in pre-audit preparation."

With an up-scaling in demand for Lexcel with the recognition of the standard as an alternative to the Legal Services Commission Specialist Quality Mark, CPM21 are looking forward to helping even more clients with Lexcel accreditation.
