Wayne Williams & Ian Hopkins of CPM21 attend Solicitors Regulation Authority Reception at the Senedd – 26th April 2022

CPM21’s Managing Director, Wayne Williams MBA and our Senior Associate Consultant, Ian Hopkins  MBA were pleased to attend the Senedd on 26th April 2022,  for the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) reception.

The event was hosted in the beautiful Senedd building in Cardiff Bay, by Mick Antoniw MS Counsel General and Minister for the Constitution. The SRA Board and representatives of the South Wales legal profession were in attendance.

Opening up the legal market, driving competition, promoting innovation, pushing for affordable legal services and improving information for consumers are all ongoing priorities for the regulator.

Mick Antoniw also set out the vision for the increasing devolution of Justice to the Welsh Government over time.

We were delighted to be joined by Mick Antoniw MS, Chris Handford Director of Regulatory Policy at the SRA for the obligatory photograph.

The next SRA event in Wales will be held in Swansea on a date to be announced and will focus on innovation in the legal profession.

We look forward to supporting that event and remain ready to support the Welsh Solicitors profession to develop their practice to meet the challenges and opportunities that emerge in this new era of Welsh Law and Practice.

Mae agor y farchnad gyfreithiol, gyrru cystadleuaeth, hyrwyddo arloesedd, gwthio am wasanaethau cyfreithiol fforddiadwy a gwella gwybodaeth i ddefnyddwyr oll yn flaenoriaethau parhaus i’r rheolydd.

Nododd Mick Antoniw hefyd y weledigaeth ar gyfer datganoli cyfiawnder cynyddol i Lywodraeth Cymru dros amser.

Roeddem yn falch iawn o gael ymuno â Mick Antoniw MS, Chris Handford Cyfarwyddwr Polisi Rheoleiddio yn yr SRA ar gyfer y llun gorfodol.

Cynhelir digwyddiad SRA nesaf Cymru yn Abertawe ar ddyddiad i’w gyhoeddi a bydd yn canolbwyntio ar arloesi yn y proffesiwn cyfreithiol.

Edrychwn ymlaen at gefnogi’r digwyddiad hwnnw ac rydym yn parhau i fod yn barod i gefnogi proffesiwn Cyfreithwyr Cymru i ddatblygu eu hymarfer i gwrdd â’r heriau a’r cyfleoedd sy’n dod i’r amlwg yn y cyfnod newydd hwn o Gyfraith ac Ymarfer Cymru.
