Adam grew up in Neath Port Talbot before studying History at the University of Exeter. After graduating, he worked for a tech start-up company in Swansea before securing a training contract at Osborne Clarke LLP in Bristol.
After completing the law conversion courses at BPP University, he commenced his period of training at Osborne Clarke in 2017. He qualified as a solicitor in 2019 into the Property Disputes team. Whilst at Osborne Clarke, he specialised in advising high-street retail tenants, electricity distribution network operators, national housebuilders and mobile network operators on a number of contentious property issues.
He left private practice in 2021 to take up a lecturing position at the University of South Wales (USW). At USW, he leads the professional law courses, including the LPC and SQE. He continues to practice as a solicitor through USW’s Legal Advice Clinic, a student led, pro-bono clinic offering legal advice to members of the public. He primarily supervises students on general civil litigation and landlord and tenant matters.
In his spare time, he enjoys nothing more than playing guitar and going to music gigs with his wife. With a particular passion for all things blues and British invasion, he is an avid fan of The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney having seen both in concert several times.
