SRA Standards & Regulations
As solicitors’ practices are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), they are required to comply with the SRA’s Standards and Regulations 2019 and the associated Codes of Conduct for firms and individual solicitors.
In addition, the firm will have to comply with the SRA’s Accounts Rules 2019.
Practice MOT
Our Practice MOT is therefore popular with both COLPs and COFAs.
CPM 21 will carry out a compliance health check on your systems, policies, controls and procedures to ensure that they are compliant with SRA requirements.
We will recommend appropriate changes and assist by providing precedents and templates to enable you to improve your levels of compliance.
Transparency Rules (add on)
As an optional add on to this service we can also include a review of your website or other documentation to ensure that the firm is compliant with the SRA’s Transparency Rules (including Complaints, and Cost Information) which came into force on 6 December 2018.
